Greetings from Alana and Thomas, the founders of Oakway!

 

Our journey began when we crossed paths while pursuing our Master's Degree in Osteopathy in Maidstone, England. Alana, originally from Canada, and Thomas, a proud Belgian, found common ground in their shared passion for healthcare and holistic well-being.

In 2019, we made Sterrebeek our home, drawn to its peaceful and family-friendly area.

After years of learning and growing together, we decided to plant our roots here and opened Oakway in June 2023. Our commitment to providing quality healthcare services to our local community, friends, and family is at the heart of Oakway.

we're excited to continue supporting you on your path to health and wellness.

Oakway encompasses various layers of significance for us. Alana's roots in Oakville and our shared love for genuine wood accents are reflected in the choice of 'Oak.'

The 'Way' signifies the journey patients take when they come through our doors for care.

Our hope is to support their well-being, aid in their recovery, and see them continue on their way through life. We chose oak accents in our center not only to symbolize strength and resilience, but also draw inspiration from the mighty oak tree— a timeless emblem of stability, growth, and natural health.
